Whew! I've been so busy trying to finish my mosaic clock and get ready for our 3 Woman Show (Re-Use, Re-Cycle….Re-Create!) at On the Edge Gallery (last weekend) that I haven't taken the time to even snap some pictures of the clock 'in progress'! So, here it is…. all finished!
And, I finished it the night before the show (after several all-nighters :-) so it became my centerpiece. The show went well, we got lots of publicity so tons of people came, especially on opening night. We advertised that if people donated some 'junk' to us, they could get a raffle ticket to win original art and so a lot of people brought in bags and boxes full of interesting things. So fun going thru it all at the end of the show, figuring out which one of us could do something creative with each thing, one by one! Thanks to all who came, purchased and donated cool stuff!
